For Father's Day 2013, The Center for Work & Family released a new summary report The New Dad: A Work (and Life) in Progress. This year, we seek to move beyond providing information on fathers and work-life, to issue a "Call to Action" to challenge both fathers and organizations to increase the understanding of men's work-life challenges and strategize about solutions. Click here for an Executive Summary of the report.
We know that the work life challenges of fathers not only have a direct impact on productivity, stress, and engagement of men in the workplace, but also important implications for women as they seek to advance in our organizations. We see the two as intrinsically connected, with men's recognition and respect for work-life as critical to the success of all employees.
